A quick fasting recipe from Grandma's cookbook…
* 4 potatoes
* 2 small onions
* 1 carrot
* 1 parsnip
* 1 small piece of celery
* a cube of butter (for the fasting version it will be replaced with olive oil)
* green parsley
Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into cubes. After a few boils, clean the foam, then add the finely chopped onion.
Carrot, parsnip and celery are put on a small grater and simmer in a pan with butter until soft.
Add over the potatoes and adjust the taste of salt. It is ready when the potatoes are cooked.
Serve with chopped green parsley. You can also add sour cream or garlic. My family prefers garlic. 😉
