I wanted to make some cheese balls with cheese as a garnish for a chicken steak . But at the last moment I changed direction :)) and I baked them in the waffle maker, to make them easier. They came out very good.
- 4 medium potatoes
- 50 g butter
- 100 g cheese
- 1 or
- a few tablespoons of flour
- salt and pepper with garlic
Preparation Potato waffles with cheese:
The potatoes are washed very well and boiled in salted water. After they have boiled (check with a fork) they are passed under a stream of cold water and peeled, then we pass them as for puree. Add butter, grated cheese on a small grater, salt, pepper and garlic to taste. We also put 1-2 tablespoons of flour, enough to bind the composition and we can shape it.
Form balls from the composition, with a wet hand and put them in the waffle maker, well heated. Bake until golden brown.
Serve hot as a side dish or cold as an appetizer.
