potatoes with bacon and cheese casserole

Easter is over, we are tired of all the goodies, but in the end… we still have to eat something. :)) So for today I propose these potatoes with bacon, an easier version of peasant potatoes .

An idea for when we don't have much time available in the kitchen. 🙂

potatoes with bacon and cheese casserole

4 medium potatoes
100 g bacon
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper
3 cloves garlic
dill

Boil the potatoes in their skins in salted water. After boiling, pass under a stream of cold water and peel. Cut thicker cubes or slices.

Cut the bacon into thin strips and put it in a pan with oil and garlic cloves, uncleaned and lightly crushed. Fry it until the fat melts. Remove the garlic cloves, then add the potatoes and stirring lightly so that they do not crumble, lightly fry them on all sides.

We match the taste of salt and pepper. Sprinkle with finely chopped dill before serving.
