Puff pastry baskets with cheese

And my friend Diana will tell me… "do you really eat this weird cheese?" :))) Gorgonzola is not a cheese that I would like to express, but in these puff pastry baskets and in combination with the other kinds of cheese it was good 😉

The baskets are delicious and are very suitable for a festive meal. Obviously you can combine other types of cheese, as you prefer.

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 100 g gorgonzola
  • 50 g cheese
  • 100 g mozzarella
  • a few slices of pickled dried tomatoes
  • capere
  • basil leaves
  • salt and pepper

All 3 types of cheese are cut into pieces and placed in a bowl. Salt and pepper to taste, add chopped basil, chopped tomatoes and capers. Mix well by mixing lightly with a spoon.

If you use a special muffin tray, line each form with baking paper. If you have silicone molds, it is no longer necessary to put baking paper.

The puff pastry is cut into squares of the right size, so that it fits in the shape and the corners stay out, thus forming a basket. Fill each basket with the cheese mixture

and put the pan in the oven over medium heat, until the baskets are lightly browned.

Remove from the molds on a grill and leave to cool.

Serve both hot and cold.
