- * 400 g puff pastry dough
- * 3 apples
- * 6 tablespoons sugar
- * 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- * juice from 1/2 lemon
Preparation Roses with apples:
Cut the apples into quarters, remove the strainers, then cut into thin slices.
Put in a saucepan and cover with water. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and lemon juice and bring to a boil. When it starts to boil, add 2 more boils and set aside.
Remove the apple slices on an absorbent towel and leave to cool.
Spread the puff pastry sheet, sprinkle the remaining sugar (the amount of sugar can be increased or decreased, depending on preference) and cinnamon.
The puff pastry should not be completely thawed, it is easier to work. Then cut 1.5 cm strips of dough On each strip put apple slices, slightly overlapping.
Then run as tight as possible. After sprinkling the sugar on the dough sheet, pass the rolling pin twice over the sheet. The sugar will stick better and will not spread when rolled.
Place each roll in a tray lined with baking paper and place in a hot oven over medium heat until golden brown.
- Under the tray in which the roses are baking you can put a pot / tray with water, in order to avoid burning at the "sole", this is where you have this problem with the oven.
Powder with sugar after cooling.
