For my dwarfs, any recipe with pasta is welcome, so today, driven by Cristina's challenge , that of cooking with Baneasa pasta, I made this Carbonara spaghetti recipe. Although until now we only made the cream version , today we opted for the traditional version, which I hope you like as much as we liked 😉
- ~ 250 g spaghetti Baneasa
- 150 g bacon
- 100 g parmesan
- 3 yolks
- salt and pepper
- green parsley (optional)
How to prepare Spaghetti Carbonara:
Boil the pasta in salted water. Boil them according to the instructions on the package, then drain them in a strainer. Do not throw away the water in which they boiled.
The sliced bacon is lightly fried in a large pan.

Meanwhile, mix the Parmesan with the yolks. You will get a paste that you then thin with a little water, from the one in which they cooked the pasta. Add pepper to taste.
Place the drained pasta over the fried bacon and mix. Then pour the cheese mixture with the yolks and mix quickly so as not to turn everything into an omelet 😀
- Depending on how "creamy" you want the pasta, add the water in which the pasta was boiled and mix well.
- At the end I added a little green parsley for decoration and a note of freshness 🙂 If you don't want it, don't put it.
Carbonara spaghetti is served hot.
Good appetite! 😉
