spirals with walnut and cinnamon rolls

First of all, I will start the week by telling you that I am very happy with the article about Sweets of all kinds and a little about me :)) appeared in Click! for women . I would like to thank Mrs. Isabela Mihalcea and you, my readers, for making this appearance possible.

Secondly, you have to, but you have to! :))) let me tell you that I spent a great weekend in Sibiu, with my cook friends. Even though the road was very long and tiring, I returned home with a wide smile on my face. I will be back soon with impressions and pictures.

And thirdly, but not lastly what do you say? Do we eat a spiral with walnuts and cinnamon today? :)) As if it still got cold outside, we can turn on the oven without any problem.

For the dough:

350 g yogurt
100 ml of milk
50 g butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
50 g sugar
~ 800 g flour
10 g dry yeast
1 tablespoon flavored sugar with lemon powder

The yogurt is mixed with the milk in which I melted the butter and sugar, then I left it to cool.

Put flour in a bowl and add salt, flavored sugar and yeast. Homogenize, then make a hole in the middle and put a little beaten eggs and the mixture with milk. Knead until you get an elastic and homogeneous dough. If necessary, add a little flour.

For the filling:

200-250 g ground walnuts
100 g sugar
50 g cocoa
1 tablespoon cinnamon
50 g soft butter

In a bowl, mix the ground walnuts with the sugar, cocoa and cinnamon.

Remove the dough on the floured table, spread it in a thin sheet of about 0.5 cm, then grease well with soft butter. Sprinkle the walnut mixture on top and roll the sheet as tightly as possible. With a piece of kitchen twine / string we cut rolls 4-5 cm thick. Place in a tray lined with baking paper and leave to rise again for about 15 minutes.

Bake over medium heat until lightly browned.
