Along with the Fluffy Cheesecake , I also prepared these sweet rolls of tender dough with cheese .
And also for dwarfs, especially since they are always looking for something good. If you have the patience to leave them until the next day, they will become even better. Crumbly and tasty, just like good cookies.

I used this combination of cheeses again, they fit well and these rolls came out very good.

Ingredients:

  • 200 gr wheat flour

  • 100 gr ricotta
  • 1/2 lgta dry orange peel
  • 2 lg sweetener

Method of preparation:

Soft butter (with a pinch of salt) mix foam, add egg. Once homogenized, add the flour, baking soda. Knead enough to homogenize, no more, so as not to lose its fragility. The obtained dough is wrapped in food foil and left to cool for 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the cheese filling.

* I used homemade cottage cheese, not very creamy, and for this reason, I chose to froth it with ricotta. You can use cream cheese or prepare it at home, as you like.

In the cheese composition, add sugar, an egg, orange peel and mix.
Let cool until the cookies are ready.
Preheat the oven. Cover a large tray with baking paper.
Remove the dough from the cold. It is spread in a rectangular shape, between two baking sheets, so it will not stick and no extra flour will be needed.
Remove the cheese filling from the cold, spread it evenly over the entire surface of the dough, then roll tightly on the long side. The roll thus obtained is covered in baking paper and placed in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. It will be easier to portion if it is cold before.
Then remove, cut into suitable slices, place in the tray a short distance from each other. Bake in the preheated oven at 160 degrees C for 15-20 minutes. When they turn brown, take them out of the oven and leave them to cool. Only after they have cooled completely, they are powdered with vanilla sugar.
They are perfect with a cup of tea, milk or for the school / service package.
