When I go to the market during this period… I would buy everything. When I see so many beautifully colored vegetables, I would put them all in the paper. :)) But mine are not so excited. And then, all I have to do is limit myself to vegetables that I can mask in a food they like. With meat, that is. :))
I baked peppers, I also baked donuts… then I made stew.
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- turkey breast (I didn't weigh, but put as much as you like, more or less. Or not at all :)))
- 1 large onion
- 1 carrot
- 2 baked donuts
- 2 baked peppers
- 1 can of tomatoes in juice
- 1/2 clove garlic
- salt and pepper
- little oregano
- green basil
- For anointed:
- 1 yolk
- 2 tablespoons milk
Method of preparation:
Finely chopped onion and carrot put on a small grater, lightly fry in a few tablespoons of oil. When they have softened, add the canned axles, along with the juice and bring to the boil. Add the diced turkey breast and mix. When the meat is white, add the donuts and baked peppers, cut into cubes or put in a blender. If necessary, add a little water. Let it boil until the stew reaches the desired consistency. Meanwhile, salt and pepper to taste, flavor with a little oregano and basil. Near the end, add the crushed garlic. Set the pan aside and let it cool.
We cut the thawed puff pastry dough according to the shape of the bowl in which we will finish the stew, 2 pieces of dough, one underneath and one on top.
Put a piece of dough on the bottom of the bowl, fill 3/4 full with the stew and cover with the second piece of dough, which we will pass a little over the edges of the bowl.
Grease with beaten egg yolk with a little milk and bake over medium heat until nicely browned on top.
I wish you good luck, as we had! 😉
