Since the children appeared in our lives and since I started cooking healthier at home, I must admit that there have been rare occasions when I went out to the restaurant. Maybe out of convenience, maybe out of lack of time, money or because I had nothing to do with the children… yes, I had an excuse every time :))) But on Saturday afternoon I decided to put my apron in the nail and together my friend and I nestled at CUIB 🙂 a beautiful, quiet and colorful place, a place we found out about on the occasion of the second edition of the Restaurant Week event. I can only be glad that I discovered it because we really liked it there… All the more so as, you know, for a while I flirted with the idea of being a vegetarian, and here I had the opportunity to to enjoy a meatless menu, absolutely delicious:
Mushroom cream soup,
Tomato salad with peppers and grapes,
Cheesecake with carobs,
Everything was very, very good! I went home with a smile on my face, promising both myself and those there that I would return whenever I had the opportunity.
Arriving home so relaxed and in a good mood, I started to do what I know best… to fulfill the children's cravings! 😉 A simple countertop cake with cocoa, caramel pudding, dressed in cream cheese with whipped cream… I'll bring you the recipe, but tomorrow! 😉
