Among other appetizers that you will prepare for a holiday meal, I also recommend these vol-au-vents. It will definitely be the mottled of an appetizer platter. Of course, as they can be filled with something else, the combinations are diverse. It all depends only on your preference and imagination.
* 1 packet of puff pastry
* 1 or
* For cream cheese:
* 250 g cow's cheese
* 50 g butter
* 2 tablespoons sour cream (only if the cheese is too dry)
* salt and pepper
* a few dill threads
* 1 onion
The puff pastry is left to thaw at room temperature. It is used when it is still a little frozen, completely thawed it will be difficult to handle.
Beat the egg well with a pinch of salt.
Spread the dough sheet and with a round shape cut out circles in even numbers. Half of them are cut in the middle with another round, but smaller shape. The full circles are placed in a tray lined with baking paper, greased with beaten egg, and a cut circle is placed on top. Grease again with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Put the tray in the oven for about 20 minutes, until it swells and browns. Remove to a grill and leave to cool.
Meanwhile we make cream cheese:
The cottage cheese is mixed with soft butter and sour cream, until it becomes a fine and frothy cream. Add finely chopped onion and dill. The taste of salt and pepper matches.
The cream is spread in chilled vol-au-vents. Keep cold until serving.
From the leftover dough you can make some delicious salads .
