- 2 eggs
- 6 egg whites
- 8 tablespoons sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 8 tablespoons flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder with saffron
- vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 2-3 tablespoons ground walnuts
- 150 gr cranberries
- powdered sugar for decoration
Method of preparation:
Separate the 2 eggs.
Put the egg whites on top of the other egg whites at room temperature, add salt and mix until the composition grows.
Add the sugar and continue mixing until the composition acquires the consistency of a thick cream.
Add the yolks, vanilla essence, milk and oil and mix the composition.
Sift the flour together with the baking powder.
Mix lightly with a spatula.
We take about 1.3 from the composition and put it in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons cocoa and 1 tablespoon milk. homogenize the composition and pour it into a tray lined with baking paper. with a spatula.
In the rest of the composition we put ground walnuts, cranberries and mix lightly.
Pour the composition over the cocoa.
Put the tray in the preheated oven at 170 degrees until it passes the toothpick test (approximately 45 minutes).
Remove the cake and let it cool on a grill.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and portion when serving.
