Nr. servings: 2 Cooking time 20 min Degree of difficulty: medium
- 500 g fresh yolks
- 100 g dried mushrooms (preserved)
- 1 white onion
- 1-2 small carrots
- 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
- 1 cup water (250 ml)
- 400 g fat cream
- green parsley
- optional: garlic
Here’s how to prepare the Yellow Stew at Multicooker Crock-Pot Express
The yolks are cleaned well, cut into large cubes. They can be washed under a strong stream of water, then drained.
The mushrooms are taken out of the can, cut into cubes.
Peel, wash and finely chop the onion and carrot.
Wash the parsley and cut very finely.
Connect the Multicooker Crock-Pot Express pressure cooker to the power source.
Remove the appliance cover.
The device has several preset functions. Of these, in the first phase, we set the Brown / Sauté function to brown the vegetables.
This function allows the appliance to be browned / sautéed without the need for a lid. Basically it is used as a pot on the stove in which the ingredients are hardened / browned.
Select the time for 5 minutes, then press the Start / Stop key and the appliance starts to heat up. At this point, the text Heat is displayed, a sign that the appliance has started to heat up. When it reaches the required temperature for browning, it will start cooking according to the chosen settings.
In the inner bowl, put 2 tablespoons of oil, add onion and carrot and a pinch of salt. Mix with a wooden spoon until golden brown.
Add the coarsely chopped yolks and mushrooms, add a pinch of salt. Allow them to brown and when the time has elapsed, add a cup of water.
Cover with the lid provided and close from the open position to the closed position. Rotate to closed position and steam valve. Select the Meat / Stew function, High pressure and cooking time of 10 minutes.
After the time has elapsed, using a kitchen tongs or a spatula, open the steam valve so that it releases all the steam.
Caution: do not open without a thermal glove or pliers, the steam can burn you!
After all the steam has been released, turn the lid to the unlocked position and remove it very easily.
Add the cream, a clove of chopped garlic, match the taste with salt and pepper and select the Brown / Sauté function again, for 5 minutes. Stir gently until the sauce is reduced. Add the chopped green parsley, mix twice more, then press the Start / Stop key.
Quick mission successfully accomplished by the Multicooker Crock-Pot Express pressure cooker!
Serve the stew with polenta, greens and telemea!
May it be useful to you!
